To recharge your energy…
Balance, well-being and relaxation are fully associated with thalassotherapy. Aimed at people experiencing stress, fatigue and overwork, thalassotherapy treatments allow you to enjoy the benefits of the sea.
Aquamer offers you a complete program of elaborate treatments among the following.
Algotherapy
The skin is covered with seaweed and sea mud and then wrapped in an electric blanket. The progressive heat favors the penetration of the marine elements, the warming of your bones and your muscles, and relaxes your muscles.
Aquagym
In a heated seawater pool, the body is in a state of weightlessness and all the exercises directed by a therapist aim to promote muscle relaxation and increase the range of motion while recharging the muscles in trace amounts. elements.
Indication: The warm seawater swimming pool is the very basis of thalassotherapy.
Halotherapy barrel
The negative ions in it promote relaxation, and the therapeutic salt relieves congestion and inflammation that damage the airways. A diffusion of salty air is then passed in order to be inhaled and thus eliminate the bacteria.
Hydromassage baths
Immersed in an individual bath of sea water, the patient receives a multitude of water jets which makes them float. The controlled power of the water jets directed at critical areas releases tension points, activates circulation in the deep layers of the skin and facilitates venous and lymphatic return. For a remineralization of the organism, the skin absorbs salts and marine trace elements easily.
Indication: Stress and circulatory disorders.
Infrared chair
Infrared lamps for health and body care applications are designed to treat deep muscle conditions and sports injuries.
The benefits of this therapy are based on the improvement of local blood circulation in the skin caused by the vasodilator reaction. This results in an increased rate of transport of metabolites and other essential biochemicals. The benefits also come from the deeper penetration of heat, which provides a pleasant and gentle warming effect.
Indication: Relieves muscular pains and conditions such as rheumatism, lumbago, neuralgia and colds, etc. Facilitates recovery from injury.
Lymphatic drainage
Manual technique which aims to clear the lymphatic channels, release toxins and eliminate edema towards the natural evacuation routes. These are very precise gentle maneuvers that lead the spa client to unwind and relax. Lymphatic circulation slows down during periods of stress, fatigue or physical inactivity.
Indication: Cellulite or oedema.
NeuroSpa
The NeuroSpa helps achieve a deep state of relaxation by releasing tension at a deep level of the body.
This Canadian-developed technology uses a combination of vibro-acoustic stimulation through headphones playing relaxing music and a vibrating cushion on the back. The NeuroSpa session takes place in a lying position.
One session of Neurospa will leave you either deeply relaxed or gently revitalized depending on the program that you choose. We offer 15 minute and 30 minute sessions and recommend a regular Neurospa practice to access the greatest benefits.
Pressotherapy
Inflatable boots with intermittent and alternating compression that improves circulation by promoting venous and lymphatic return. Pressotherapy reduces and controls limb edema by reducing excess interstitial fluid that causes swelling.
Indication: Cellulite or oedema.
Self-heating marine mud
Very rich in magnesium and trace elements, the sludge releases, during its application, a progressive heat which allows a better penetration of the active products. They can be used locally (neck, shoulders, back, hips, knees, legs, thighs, hands, arms and feet).
Indication: Relieves the pain of arthritis or rheumatism. Activates blood circulation, facilitates venous and lymphatic return, promotes cellulite resorption, eliminates tension points.
Thermal ball
This treatment consists of immersing and mobilizing the hands in hot seaweed mud or hot sand.
Indication: Hands osteoarthritis, mobility of joints, wrists and tendons.
Vertebral
Stretching exercises on a back board, led by a therapist. They are practiced gently and allow to restore mobility to the spine and the cervical region.
Contraindication: Person suffering from retinal detachment of the eye.
